Book Review:
Thank you so much to the author for the gifted advanced copy of this book.
After reading all the three books in the series, all the characters seem very real and a part of them will remain with me forever.
Andie is a sweet, smart, and strong single mother to 14 months old Enzo when she moves to Nashville with a dream to set up a photography business from Alabama. She is homesick and lonely and struggling to find new friends. She ends up interviewing for Nashville Stylists (Kiki, Sarah, and TJ's company) and as soon as she joins the team she also find new friends.
She meets Kiki's brother Cameron on the day of her interview. She is immediately attracted to him but puts her child first. With various ups and downs finally, they get there happily ever after.
I loved the friendship between Kiki, Sarah, TJ, Andie, and Mandy. The madness has totally reached another level altogether in the best way possible. They have their back and can do anything for each other. I was up all night and binged on this one. I cannot think of a book I read so fast and it is that good. Apart from the romance and fun, the author has also tried very well to highlight the struggles of a single mom.
Sophie writes about lovable characters, great friendships, and relationships. I looking forward to the next book by her. I totally recommend this book and series.
Synopsis:
Anderson “Andie” Daniels wonders when she’s going to catch a break. A single mom in a new city, Andie desperately tries to stay afloat, but life keeps throwing her curveballs. She’s lonely, she’s tired, and she’s broke. She’s about to throw the towel in and crawl back home when she gets a job offer working for a stylist. Andie’s new job is keeping her head above water, but the hot bar owner downstairs may just pull her back under.
Cameron Forbes is successful, handsome, and single…and that’s how he likes it. Recently broken up from a long-term relationship and living in a new city, Cam decides to solely focus on his business, a successful string of bars called The Social Hour. His business is his baby, his mistress, and his responsibility. What he didn’t have perfectly planned out is the crazy woman who pops into his bar unexpectedly one afternoon. Cameron has to decide if he can let his heart overrule his head or if he’s destined to a life running The Social Hour.
Sometimes Life doesn’t go the way you planned it.
The Social Hour is the third book in the Coffee Book series. It’s a standalone novel, but the author suggests reading the first two books in the series because of returning characters.
